Step into a vibrant celebration of culture and sustainability in this Ukrainian-themed garden, where the blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian flag are woven throughout the landscape.

It’s no surprise that this inspiring space was honoured with the Communities in Bloom Best Garden Selection Award, Medium Garden Winner.

As you explore, don’t miss the artists featured in the backyard. This garden is more than just a visual treat—it’s a celebration of culture, community, and conscious living.

Inspired by the shared floral traditions of Ukrainian village gardens and the Canadian prairies, this garden is a heartfelt tribute to heritage, resilience, and beauty. Here, you'll find a harmonious blend of edibles, flowers, trees, and lawn, all seamlessly integrated into a thoughtfully designed and lovingly maintained space.

Raised beds brim with vegetables, while pollinator-friendly blooms add bursts of colour and life. This garden doesn’t just look good—it’s deeply rooted in purpose.

The property is also home to a NetZero residence, and this environmental philosophy extends into the garden, with sustainable practices in place for water conservation, soil health, and efficient food production.

This important exhibit was first displayed in Kelowna at the prayer for Ukraine event (see below). Our goal is to find funding to print the photos and place the exhibit in local museums, churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, universities, and colleges. It is an important visutal reminder of war crimes and the price paid daily in Ukraine, from Russia's criminal war.
